| The Azimuth model
is a cyclic semi-closed circuit rebreather in which the breathing mix
moves through a one-way loop and is scrubbed to remove the CO2 from the
exhaled gas.
The total absence of sensors or
servomechanisms assures simplicity of operation.
The Azimuth is the result of a project to
develop a rebreather of maximum reliability and ease of use.
The Azimuth was originally designed for the military and constructed
from highly sophisticated materials. The production of
these units was subjected to exhaustive testing. It represents the state-of-the-art in
diving systems for Nitrox SCR breathing mixes. |
