Ocean Sports is a full service dive shop established in Puerto Rico since 1988. We provide certification courses, dive trips, equipment sales and repair, gear rental, and gas fills (Air, Nitrox and Trimix). Our staff members have more than 50 years of experience in teaching and leading divers and are dedicated to providing the safest and most enjoyable experience possible for our customers.
Our motto is: “If it’s not fun, we don’t do it.”
Located in Isla Verde, we are close to the Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport, and within easy driving distance of all the major hotels in the San Juan and Isla Verde area.
We prefer to cater to smaller groups of divers so that we can have better interaction with our customers and provide a safer environment. Group size can vary depending on time of year and location of dive site.
Equipment Sales and Services:
Ocean Sports is an authorized dealer for almost all major brands of scuba diving equipment. We represent Scubapro, Oceanic, Aqua Lung, Zeagle, Aeris, Atomic, Suunto, Tilos, Scubamax, IST, and Sea Vision among others. Our store is well stocked with the essential items required by every diver. If we don’t have it, we will do our best to try to get it.
Rentals:
We offer a full rental program, from mask, fins and snorkel to full scuba gear. We also have shorty wetsuits and dive computers available for rent.
Fills:
We are a complete filling station capable of providing O2 compatible air, Nitrox, and Trimix.
Repairs:
Ocean Sports is a full repair facility. We do regulator overhauls, tank inspections, hose replacements, computer battery replacements, and BC checks. We are Authorized Service Technicians for all major brands of scuba equipment and have a large inventory of parts and service kits.
